The Fixed Pump System that is anchored near a pond will need a 10 foot piece of flexible hose and another piece of PVC or ABS pipe with a elbow and intake screen. These items are additional since the Fixed Pump System has many other uses. 
Things to consider are the high water line and low water line, we don't want the Fixed Pump to get flooded and we don't want the intake to draw air at a low water level.
